Calne Running Club

Calne Running Club are a friendly and enthusiastic bunch of runners who enjoy training together and sharing the joys that running can bring to people’s lives. We cater for all abilities so no matter whether you are young or old, love long distance ultra running or are trying to get to your first 5k, whether you are speedy or happy to plod, we cater for all!

If you are interested in joining our club, It only costs £27 per year for full membership from January – December. Calne SMaRTT

Calne SMaRTT is a Running and Triathlon club based in Calne. Our members are of all ages and a wide range of abilities so whether you’re an experienced runner or you’ve just started and want to meet people of the same level, then you’ll be in great company for training – there’s also plenty of social events to look forward to! Even though we are a triathlon club, there is no obligation to take part in a triathlon – though you may get the bug from the enthusiastic triathletes in the club!

The Club meet on Mondays at Calne Leisure Centre at 7pm in the summer and mix this with some circuit sessions in the winter, providing some excellent winter conditioning.

On Wednesdays we meet at Beversbrook Sports Facility at 7pm.  During the summer months we train on the track or field there and in the winter we utilise the bypass.

On Tuesdays there is an opportunity to swim at Marlborough College with qualified coaches to assist with your training.  Also on Tuesdays in the summer months many club members go cycling at Castle Coombe Circuit.

We also have social events throughout the year, including a weekend away, where we combine various activities with socialising.
